St. Patrick's Day Parade
Come cheer on Newport Out/Pride at the 66th Annual Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11 am rain or shine from Newport City Hall and continues to St. Augustin's Church in Newport's old 5th Ward.

About the Event
The 66th Annual Newport St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11 am from Newport City Hall and continues down Thames Street to St. Augustin's Church in Newport's Fifth Ward. Come and watch the parade and cheer us on!
We are thankful for our partners, Life Raft & Survival and Bike Newport, who will be marching with us! Newport Out/Pride's presence in the St Patrick's parade is to support our community, create awareness, visibility and celebrate LGBTQ+ identities. Our parade will include a leading decorated truck, followed by a group of bikes to end with a Cadillac where our fabulous family-friendly drag queen Danuel Duel will be riding and bringing joy to the crowd. Students from the local LGBTQ+ youth groups at the local schools will participate in creating decorations with positive festive messages promoting inclusion.
We will be hosting an informal reception and gathering after the parade with our friends at Stoneacre Brasserie on Newport's Washington Square from 2-6 pm. They have reserved a unique area for our post-parade with a special signature cocktail. RSVP is required!

Newport Out has been organizing LGBTQ+ community-building events in Newport since 2018. On Saturday, June 25, 2022, we will celebrate the 5th annual Pride event, including a bike parade with Bike Newport. Our mission is to build a more welcoming and inclusive LGBTQ+ community in Newport County, Rhode Island.
