PHOTOS: The Magical HERstory Tour was pure CHAOS (in the best way) 💚🌱
The Magical History Tour brought cannabis, cocktails, and a whole lot of chaos to Newport on Sunday. Hosted by Ninny Nothin and Kennedy Plaza, this was DEFINITELY not your average history tour.
We kicked things off at the Brenton Hotel with infused cocktails, mocktails, food, and Amy Whinehouse vibes before boarding the bus and turning up the volume. From Thames Street to Ocean Drive, the soundtrack was loud, the energy was high, and Newport was our playground. The Cannex Club & Aura gifted each person a 2 gram joint, and once we boarded the hotboxing began.
Kings Park got a little entertainment with Ninny’s rendition of 4 Non Blondes”What’s Up?” before we made our way to regroup and get ready for the main event: the blunt cruise.
After Kennedy payed tribute to Dolly (who performed at Folk in 2019), we cruised to the ultimate burn ride mixtape, laughed, and took in all that rain, hunny. Isaias didn’t come to play
Then came Bellevue Avenue, a Britney singalong, and a Celine Dion performance from Ninny and Kennedy. Historic mansions, pop princess anthems, “facts”, and a bus full of people living their best lives. Newport has never quite seen a tour like this.
We wrapped things up at Stoneacre Brasserie after a wet, wild, wonderfully unhinged ride through the city. Pure chaos from start to finish, and honestly, you had to be there.
